Webinar : Sacroiliac problems – WHY – HOW – and what to do ?
While the talk about sacroiliac joint (SI-Problems) is fairly well known to therapists working with horses, the question WHY received far less attention.
However, over the last decade – WHY there is a sacroiliac (SI-problem) -has gained increasingly more interest in research and translational applications, such as myofascial therapies, massage therapies, osteopathic treatment and physiotherapeutic treatment. In this webinar we will take a closer look at the SI-joint problems and discuss some of the reasons WHY they occur and look at the intricate connections with the rest of the body, which helps us to deal with the problem professionally and not perform quick fixes, which will only be symptomatic treatments. Last we briefly dwell on possible opportunities for alternative treatments, and treatments possible, when the horse is competing.
