Thorough examination of the entire horse’s musculoskeletal system, skeleton, and muscles.

Osteopathy (a form of chiropractic) involves manipulating any joints where mobility is not optimal (commonly referred to as restrictions).

Physiotherapy aims to maintain the horse’s flexibility through liberating stretching techniques. Physiotherapy and special massage help release any tensions in the horse’s soft tissues and muscles, allowing the joints to function optimally.

Laser treatment

Laser treatment can typically be used for:

scar tissue
muscle injuries
inflammation
pain treatment
acupuncture treatment
trigger point treatment

tendon injuries
ligament injuries
swelling
skin disorders
rheumatism / Joint problems
bursitis in joints / tendon sheaths

The treatment duration with laser varies greatly, which is why the price depends on the condition being treated, as well as the duration of the treatment.

Shock Wave therapy

Shockwaves penetrate and expand blood vessels, promoting the formation of new blood vessels.

Shockwaves dampen inflammation.

Shockwave therapy is offered for the treatment of muscle soreness in the back and injuries to tendons, tendon sheaths, and ligaments, among others. Shockwave therapy can be used specifically for ligament, muscle, and bone injuries, as well as for pain relief through trigger points.

Shockwave therapy results in, among other things:

Increased cellular metabolism
Increased microcirculation (blood flow)
Dissolution of calcified fibroblasts
Improved and increased collagen production
Reduction of muscle tension
Pain relief

Shockwave waves, through the energy supplied to the tissue, push a chronic injury towards an acute injury, thereby promoting the body’s own healing abilities.

The price per area for shockwave treatments ranges from DKK 500 to 1200, excluding VAT.

Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is a supplement to the treatment, which can be beneficial for many horses, both to achieve better results and as pain relief.

Price excluding VAT: 1000 DKK

Price including VAT: 1250 DKK

Kinesiotaping

Pain taping, corrective taping, scar tissue taping, etc. Depending on the amount used, the price typically ranges between 150.00 and 400.00 kr.

Payment

Transportation

An additional mileage surcharge of 3.70 kr. (excluding VAT) per driven kilometer is applied to the prices.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made at least 1 business day before the scheduled treatment, either via email, SMS, or leaving a voice message on the answering machine.
Cancellation less than 1 business day before the scheduled treatment will incur a fee of 500 kr.
Cancellation due to an acute injury should be communicated by leaving a message on the answering machine no later than the day before the scheduled treatment.
